The textile used on this chair is Fourtis. Fourtis is a four-way stretch fabric that easily conforms to our chairs' cushions for the ultimate in comfort and flexibility. Fourtis' name is inspired by the four-way stretch as well as the Latin word, fortis, which stands for strong, speaking to its durability and performance. While most crepe weaves create a crinkle texture, we found that using a satin as the base weave structure creates a smooth surface. The effect is a very small scale motif that has a tailored look.
